Shaedon Sharpe
Shaedon Sharpe has 18 points in loss to Warriors
Tue, Oct 14, 2025, 6:46 PM
Shaedon Sharpe had 18 points (7-of-16 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, three steals and one three-pointer against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Analysis: Sharpe led the Trail Blazers in points with 18 and shot attempts with 16. While Portland had five other players in double figures, Sharpe looks poised to establish himself as the primary scoring option for the Trail Blazers this year. That makes the 22-year-old shooting guard an excellent pick in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
Toumani Camara
Toumani Camara (knee) sits out second half

Conor Bergin
Toumani Camara (knee) did not play in the second half of Friday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: Camara played 14 minutes during the first half of Friday's game, finishing with three points (1-of-3 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer. More concerning than the numbers was the reason why he did not play after halftime, with Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups revealing after the game that Camara was dealing with some knee soreness. The issue doesn't sound serious, so fantasy managers should continue to draft Camara with the expectation that he'll be good to go when the regular season begins.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija starts, records 15/6/2 stat line
Fri, Oct 10, 2025, 7:03 PM
Deni Avdija finished Friday's win over the Kings with 15 points (4-of-9 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer.
Analysis: After coming off the bench in Wednesday's preseason opener, Avdija was in the starting lineup on Friday. His inclusion meant Jerami Grant was pushed to the bench, with the veteran forward contributing 18 points (6-of-13 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), four rebounds and one assist. While Grant did not sound like he expected to come off the bench at all when asked about the possibility at the beginning of training camp, there's clearly a competition for that place in the starting lineup. Fantasy managers are likely rooting for Avdija to win the job, as he offers a far higher fantasy ceiling.
Shaedon Sharpe
Shaedon Sharpe posts 17 points, six rebounds
Fri, Oct 10, 2025, 6:57 PM
Shaedon Sharpe accounted for 17 points (6-of-14 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), six rebounds and two three-pointers in Friday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: Sharpe has lived up to his surname during the preseason, shooting 15-of-29 from the field in Portland's two exhibitions. That's good news for the Trail Blazers, as the fourth-year wing is entering a pivotal season for his NBA career. Portland has until October 20 to work out a rookie extension with Sharpe, or he'll be a restricted free agent next summer. Given how he's played during the preseason, betting on Sharpe to come through in a contract year would not be a bad idea.
Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday dishes out seven assists Wednesday
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 7:35 PM
Jrue Holiday tallied four points (1-of-5 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two rebounds and seven assists in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: Holiday, acquired from the Celtics during the offseason, only played 17 minutes in his unofficial Trail Blazers' debut. The veteran guard did not shoot the ball well, but he was solid otherwise, making plays for others and committing just one turnover on the night. With Scoot Henderson likely to miss the start of the regular season with a torn left hamstring and Damian Lillard out for the season as he recovers from a ruptured Achilles, Holiday will have to take on point guard duties for the foreseeable future. After seeing his fantasy value take a hit in Boston last season, Holiday will be worth the investment in Portland.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija posts 14 points, eight rebounds
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 6:59 PM
Deni Avdija recorded 14 points (4-of-9 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: With a healthy Jerami Grant back in the fold, the question ahead of Wednesday's preseason opener was who Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups would bring off the bench. Avdija was the answer to that question in San Francisco, but he still brought solid fantasy value to the table. While not starting isn't the best for Deni, his skill set is such that his fantasy value should not suffer too much. Grant finished Wednesday's defeat with eight points, five rebounds, one assist, three steals and one three-pointer, shooting 2-of-11 from the field. Regardless of where he is in the rotation, as long as he's active, Avdija is the superior fantasy option.
Toumani Camara
Toumani Camara records 14/4/3/1/2 line vs. GSW
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 6:59 PM
Toumani Camara accounted for 14 points (5-of-13 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: Camara did not have the best night shooting the basketball at the charity stripe, as he missed both of his free-throw attempts. However, the third-year forward shot 4-of-9 from beyond the arc while offering his usual value as a defender. Camara established himself as one of the NBA's top wing defenders, earning second-team All-Defense honors. His defensive prowess should keep Camara in the starting lineup once the regular season begins, and he should be selected in all fantasy drafts.
Shaedon Sharpe
Shaedon Sharpe comes out hot, finishes with 22
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 6:58 PM
Shaedon Sharpe tallied 22 points (9-of-15 FGs), six rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: Sharpe's Wednesday night ended with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter, and he looked terrific. Living up to his surname, the Trail Blazers wing shot 66.7 percent from the field and offered value in the rebound and three-point categories. Along with Scoot Henderson, who's currently injured, Sharpe will be expected to take a significant step forward for the Blazers this season. While he's never been the best fantasy option, this will be the season when it's worth rolling the dice on Sharpe.
Jrue Holiday
POR starting Jrue, Sharpe, Camara, Grant, Clingan
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 2:38 PM
Sean Highkin
Jrue Holiday, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara, Jerami Grant and Donovan Clingan will start Wednesday's game against the Warriors.
Analysis: Portland opens its preseason without Scoot Henderson, who will likely miss the start of the regular season after suffering a torn left hamstring just before the start of training camp. Holiday, acquired from the Celtics this summer, will be in the starting lineup alongside Sharpe. The eye-opening omission from the starting lineup is Deni Avdija, who will come off the bench after enjoying the best season of his NBA career. Grant is back after missing a significant amount of time, but Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups has not finalized his starting five for the regular season.
Damian Lillard
Lillard (Achilles) doesn't plan on 25-26 return
Mon, Sep 29, 2025, 11:29 AM
Sean Highkin
Damian Lillard (Achilles) said Monday that he does not plan on returning to action during the 2025-26 season.
Analysis: Lillard ruptured his left Achilles tendon during the Bucks' first-round series against the Pacers. Planning on doing his rehab in Portland, the guard agreed to a multi-year deal with the Trail Blazers after Milwaukee bought out his contract. Lillard's declaration that he doesn't plan on attempting to play this season is unsurprising, but there had been no official declaration from him or the team. With his comments on Monday, fantasy managers don't need to consider stashing Lillard with a late-round pick. This will be a critical season for Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe, as both will take on significant roles with Lillard sidelined and Anfernee Simons now a member of the Celtics.
Jerami Grant
Jerami Grant doesn't expect to come off bench
Mon, Sep 29, 2025, 9:22 AM
Sean Highkin
Jerami Grant said “I don't really expect that” when asked about coming off the bench.
Analysis: Head coach Chauncey Billups is going to have some decisions to make. With Scoot Henderson sidelined, Jrue Holiday and Donovan Clingan are likely locked in as starters, which leaves three spots for Grant, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe. It would be surprising if either Camara or Avdija were benched, so it will likely be between Grant and Sharpe for the final spot in the starting unit. Their preseason opener on October 8 will give a good indication as to what Billups is thinking, though that doesn't mean the same lineup will be rolled out on opening night.
Scoot Henderson
Scoot Henderson (hamstring) sidelined 4-8 weeks
Fri, Sep 26, 2025, 8:52 AM
Portland Trail Blazers
Scoot Henderson (hamstring) will be sidelined for 4-8 weeks.
Analysis: According to the Trail Blazers, Henderson suffered a torn left hamstring during a workout earlier this week. The initial expectation is that he'll miss anywhere from four to eight weeks, meaning the third-year guard is highly unlikely to be available for opening night. Henderson's absence places more responsibility upon Jrue Holiday's shoulders as he looks to rebound from a 2024-25 season that was underwhelming by fantasy standards. The injury news may also mean that Deni Avdija will have more opportunities to serve as a primary playmaker, raising his fantasy ceiling after an excellent first season in Portland.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija finishes loss to Greece with 23 points
Sun, Sep 7, 2025, 10:59 AM
Deni Avdija tallied 23 points (5-of-11 FGs, 9-of-12 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals and four three-pointers in Sunday's loss to Greece.
Analysis: Avdija's run at FIBA EuroBasket ended on Sunday, as Israel had no answer for Greece's Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, on the heels of a successful debut season in Portland, this tournament was a success for Avdija individually. He scored at least 20 points in all six games, shooting just under 50 percent from the field. Avdija's play, especially after the All-Star break, was one of the sources of optimism for the Trail Blazers despite missing the postseason. While a healthy Jerami Grant may push him back into a reserve role to begin next season, Avdija's opportunities to be an impactful contributor should not be negatively impacted.
Deni Avdija
Avdija scores 34, outdueled by Doncic in loss
Thu, Sep 4, 2025, 7:20 AM
Deni Avdija poured in 34 points (12-of-22 FGs), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers in a 106-96 loss to Slovenia on Thursday.
Analysis: Avdija has been a force for Israel throughout EuroBasket, but this was his best performance of the tournament so far. However, it wasn't enough to get the win over Luka Doncic (37/11/9) and Slovenia, which drops Israel to 3-2. They've qualified for the Round of 16, so expect more big performances from Avdija moving forward.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija scores 22 points in win over Belgium
Tue, Sep 2, 2025, 10:38 AM
Deni Avdija contributed 22 points in Tuesday's 92-89 win over Belgium, adding three rebounds, four assists, a steal and two triples across 35 minutes.
Analysis: Avdija finished with at least 20 points in his fourth straight Eurobasket game, leading Israel to a needed victory. For as long as his team is still in contention, he should be the go-to option on offense. Heading into the 2025-26 NBA season, Avdija is ready to take another step forward with Portland after a breakout 2024-25 campaign.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija scores 23 points in win over France
Sun, Aug 31, 2025, 6:59 AM
Deni Avdija finished Israel's win over France with 23 points (7-of-10 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, five steals and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Having lost to Poland on Saturday, Israel entered Sunday's game against France needing a win to improve its chances of advancing out of the group stage. They got the job done, thanks to the offensive production of Avdija and former Boston Celtics draft pick Yam Madar (17/4/3/2 with two three-pointers) and the decision to switch to a 2-3 zone during the second half. Israel turned a 10-point deficit into an 82-69 victory, holding France without a point for more than four minutes during the fourth quarter.

Avdija tallies 23/9/5/2/2 line in loss to Poland
Sat, Aug 30, 2025, 10:38 AM
Deni Avdija led Israel with 23 points (7-of-19 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in a 66-64 loss to Poland on Saturday.
Analysis: Avdija scored 20 points in Israel's win over Iceland on Thursday, and while he was able to surpass that mark and stuff the stat sheet in other ways, it wasn't enough for them to start EuroBasket 2-0. Avdija will continue to lead the way for Israel throughout the tournament, with France next up on the schedule on Sunday.
Deni Avdija
Deni Avdija scores 20 points vs. Iceland
Thu, Aug 28, 2025, 5:07 AM
Deni Avdija finished Israel's EuroBasket victory over Iceland with 20 points (5-of-12 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks.
Analysis: Avdija got his 2025 FIBA EuroBasket campaign off to a solid start, even if his three-point shot was not falling. The Trail Blazers forward missed all five of his attempts from beyond the arc, but he proved a difficult matchup for Iceland inside the arc. Avdija shot 5-of-7 from two while also attempting 12 free throws, making 10. Teammate Roman Sorkin was the star of the 83-71 victory, as he went off for 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting. While Avdija's role with his national team stands to be different from the one he'll be asked to fill on a healthy Trail Blazers squad once the NBA season begins, he's a player to watch in this tournament. In his first season with Portland, Avdija proved an excellent fantasy asset from Christmas onward, especially after Jerami Grant was sidelined due to injury.
Blake Wesley
Report: Trail Blazers sign Blake Wesley
Tue, Jul 22, 2025, 6:55 PM
Sean Highkin
According to multiple outlets, Blake Wesley has agreed to a one-year deal with the Trail Blazers.
Analysis: Traded to the Wizards on July 8, Wesley agreed to a contract buyout and became an unrestricted free agent. He's now headed to Portland on a one-year deal that will be fully guaranteed. Wesley offered little fantasy value during his time with the Spurs, and that's unlikely to change in Portland. In addition to the offseason acquisition of Jrue Holiday, the Blazers return Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe, who will play plenty.
Damian Lillard
Shams: Damian Lillard finalizing deal with Blazers
Thu, Jul 17, 2025, 11:26 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports Damian Lillard will sign a three-year, $42 million contract with the Trail Blazers.
Analysis: The contract includes a player option in 2027. Lillard now will have a 2025-26 set salary of $70M between his Portland and Milwaukee deals, and a salary of $141M over the next two years, according to Charania. The 35-year-old point guard is heading back to where his career began when the Trail Blazers selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Lillard is unlikely to play much if at all this season as he recovers from Achilles surgery, but looks to finish his career right where he started it. The deal includes a no-trade clause.
